I have always enjoyed playing this course, both before and after they remodeled it. Unfortunately, after they achieved semi-private status the price rose and it was often times difficult to get a tee time. However, every time I have had the pleasure of playing Downingtown Country Club it has been in perfect condition. The course is not overly long, but it is loaded with fescue laden fairway and green side bunkers, giving it that links style feel. Although a round at Downingtown costs more than most are willing to pay, I have always found it to be an enjoyable golfing experience.
